Adding inventory types and items
Administrators, Managers, and Schedulers can create inventory types and items in the Administration section.
Inventory items are allocated to inventory types.
The Inventory Type and Inventory tabs will display a list of related records. The list can be printed or exported to CSV.
To edit or delete an item or items select the row or CTRL+click the rows and use the Edit or Delete button.
Use the New button to add additional records.
Edit Inventory Items
Administrators, Managers, and Schedulers can edit inventory items and update the Name, Type, Serial Number, and Description.
The edit form will also allow inventory to be linked to a particular job, Technician Group, or Technician.
Inventory is managed by capturing the correct allocation. When inventory is added it is allocated to the main warehouse.
Inventory can be allocated to the technician Group when it is issued to a specific group or warehouse (such as a technician partner company or satellite warehouse).
Inventory can then be allocated to the actual technician as the items are issued to the individuals.
The technician has the ability to view inventory allocated to them and can update the allocation to capture the job that it was allocated to.
